Jan Eggert is a consultant for public affairs in Brussels. He advises and represents companies, associations and organizations vis-à-vis the European institutions. - After several years in industry, Jan Eggert worked for many years with the Federation of German Industries (BDI) - in his last capacity as director of the international trade department. In between, he headed the German American Chamber of Commerce in Atlanta/Georgia. From 2000 to 2014, he was the director general of the Foreign Trade Association (now “amfori”) in Brussels. Since 2018 he is a member of the Senior Advisory Board of the consulting firm CONCILIUS EUROPE SPRL.
